The first LeTip of Greater San Diego meeting of 2013 started at 7:16am on Wednesday, January 9th. We had 36 members present, with 6 members absent and no guests in attendance.

Dayna Larson?- Accupuncture - (619)229-9695
Dayna started by ?telling his story.??He was born in Phoenix, Arizona and grew up in Sedona, AZ. He mentioned that he received Accupuncture treatments?from a very early time as a child whenever he was sick. Both of his parents were diagnosed with cancer and later passed away from their cancer. He attended and graduated from Arizona State University. He spent a year working?in Washington DC. An opportunity came up in Colorado and he accepted a position as a sort of back woods ranger. Not long after, he decided to learn more about cancer and came to Southern California to attend a college for Accupuncture in San Diego. He had opportunities to travel to China and Germany and received training in both places and worked in Germany for a short while.
Dayna has a passion for and?loves working with cancer patients and children. He feels he brings a lot of unique experience and training and is looking for more people to treat. Dayna then took questions from members. Fred gave a glowing testimonial of the treatments he received. Herb asked about cancer treatment and what Dayna knows about where all the research money goes to, since no cure for cancer has been found yet. Dayna shared his knowledge on where money has gone and what he knows of.

Ron Cervi - Carpet Cleaning & Restoration - (858) 541-0400
Ron has been a member of this chapter for 18 years. He started his busines with his Uncle Ron and the company name is a combination of the last names of he and?his uncle. Ron has 34 trucks servicing San Diego, Palm Springs, down to the border and all the way up to Orange County.
Ron shared his keys to success ? good people, constant training, and top of the line equipment and equipment maintenance. He also stated that repeat business from his customers and loyalty of customers that got promoted or transferred to other companies that continued to use his services. Ron is very optimistic about 2013 and expects to grow 60% this year. He has the equipment in place and people to fill the demand. He expects the cleaning side of his business to grow the most. Restoration has the highest percentage of sales and he expects that to continue.
How LeTip will help grow his business ? continued use of QuickServe at our homes, business, schools, office buildings, property managers, clubs, HOA Boards, city or county government offices. Ron will be contacting LeTip members to see how he can not only do more business with members but also refer our businesses to his more than 7100 customers.
Ron took questions from members ? Mike Mekler asked about restoration work that might involve other services and Ron stated that he is a General Contractor and can handle most every aspect of restoration and construction. He stated that anything that was specialized he would sub-contract out the work.

Birthday - Members sang Happy Birthday to Theresa Pulvere whose birthday is January 12th.
President?s Report ? Theresa sent an email yesterday informing members of dates of important events coming up ? George Maabadi?s Business Coach meeting today after the meeting, the LeTip New Member Networking Training, the Board Meeting next week (all attending please bring 10 copies of reports), and the White Elephant on the 23rd of January. Theresa spent a few minutes describing the White Elephant and asked all members to bring their checkbook and/or cash.
